So, after a week break or so from this girlie, I decided to work on her again. I'm jumping all around on her at the moment so nothing is completely done (legs and wings in particular). She's been pretty problematic, but it's been very fun! I don't know if I'll work on her much more this weekend.

And her stupid fingers broke off *again* on her right hand.... that's happened like 8 times now... I need to stop being so clumsy =/

Not finished yet. I don't even know if I'll ever have time to finish this... Things about it already bother me now, so I'm not really motivated. I want to build an armature stand so that I can make these with a bit more ease. This was difficult to do in it's early stages and as a result, proportions got off (though the tiny waist/big boobs was an "I meant to do that" case). Also.. faces are annoying to sculpt =/

I got this new kind of clay which air dries. I read everywhere it dries pretty fast.. so I was like "Sweet, that sounds perfect. I work pretty quickly anyway." Well... apparently "fast" is 24+ hours <_< I just want to keep working on this thing but it's at a point where I'm just going to damage other parts of him while I'm working. Anyway, it's going to be an Alien from... "Aliens" or one of those movies. I'm making some changes to the original design

I was trying to sculpt something that wasnt so cartoony and this is what I managed. I wish I could figure out how to smooth it all over better. It still looks rough around the edges, and the pose is just dumb... but I was simply trying to see how it would go if I sculpted arms, torso, and legs all separately. I liked the method alot.

Edit: I'll probably re-take these pictures, her legs look a little more stumpy than they really are because of the angle I took them from.

My stupid website was completely busted for a couple weeks but I finally made a new one. It's ridiculously low maintenance and it isn't as large as the previous ones. It also doesn't have those terrible resizing windows that the previous version had.

I think I just wanted to see if I could do a website in photoshop. It took a little longer than I was expecting, but it's mostly done (it was very rushed though...). Maybe when I actually have free time, I can make something that looks prettier. I also forget that my resolution is so high, so the stupid site is probably just annoying for some people (800x600 resolutions shouldnt even bother). My artwork on the site is incredibly sparse, too. Definitely Super Duper Not done. The textures and lighting are horrendous, and there is still modeling and work to be done around it. However, I finally have UV's almost completely set up for the house itself... that's kind of amazing for me.
